This is the clubs primary Digipeating IGate it also has an APRS-tt Gateway enabled (Running Direwolf)

What does it do?

Fully functioning Digipeater with IGate

WIDE1-1, WIDE2-1 etc. it also accepts ZL1WK as alias i.e. ZL1WK,WIDE2-1 for more control of your RF Path 

it will reject duplicate packets and not re digipeat them again (within 30 sec) - but will always pass to the IS Servers

ZL1WK-5 is message capable so messages within the ZL1WK-5 range will be passed from RF to IS and vice versa.

What does it do?

If you radio is capable of DTMF Tones you can access some of the functions that are enabled.

 APRS-tt has been configured for use of SOTA Summits

 SOTA Locations Via DTMF  B7 is normally Route & mile Mark - But here is Configured as AREA & Summit No:

Summit codes an Example: BP132         or WK205

Would Be: BP = 227 132 WK = 955 205

Required string for Whale Island (Summit BP132) would be: B7 277 230* OperatorsCallsignString #   

(this would show the  operator on APRS.fi at summit BP132 additionally *C9 could be added to give "CQ SOTA" Status in the comment )

Areas ALLOWED for in our Direwolf Config are: Bay of Plenty BP-227, Waikato WK-955, Manawatu / Wellington MW-069, Taranaki TN-866, Auckland AK-255, 

Exported June 2019 from SOTA Map Web Site.

Areas EXCLUDED as the area digits = more than 3 digits are: Northland NL-66555, Gisborne GI-4A444, Hawke's Bay HB-4422, Wellington WL-9555, & all South Island regions due to distance.


You need programme your Callsign in your radio as a DTMF string
